He meant that he lose nearly half of his men.

1. “But one hundred years later, the Negro still is not free. One hundred years later, the life of the Negro is still sadly crippled by the manacles of segregation and the chains of discrimination.” by Martin Luther King’s speech. He kept on repeating “one hundred years later” because he was sad that the black people weren’t free one hundred years ago and he felt like that he needed to make some changes so the black people will be free.

2. “Now is the time to make real the promises of democracy.” by Martin Luther King’s speech. It means that he will give the black people a freedom.

3.”I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: We hold these truths to be self-evident; that all men are created equal.I have a dream that one day on the red hills of Georgia the sons of former slaves and the sons of former slave owners will be able to sit down together at the table of brotherhood.” by Martin Luther King’s speech. He kept on repeating “I have a dream” because he want to make some few changes about that whit and black people should be equal which means they have to be the same.
